I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on November 4th, 2010. During the time leading up to when I received an epidural, Erin helped me cope with the pain of my contractions. I cannot imagine going through that experience without having Erin by my side. She helped me through each contraction with techniques that provided relief and that helped me focus through the pain. Without her guidance, my labor experience would have been much more difficult, especially during the times when I felt like I was losing control because of the painful contractions. My husband also felt that she was a great help for him during the entire experience, providing guideance and stress relief.
After I had my son, Erin also helped us learn to breastfeed by showing me how to help Nicholas latch on correctly. Her advice helped me so much, and I have been successfully breastfeeding him exclusively ever since. He is doing very well and has gained about 2 lbs in the 3 weeks since he's been born! I'm very greatful to Erin for all the ways in which she has helped me before, during, and after my birth experience!
