In my third trimester of my last pregnancy we decided to go with having a doula. This was the best decision we made. I went through the midwife agency I was already apart of with the pregnancy. That's when Janet came along. From the beginning she was so involved and very helpful. Going through the paperwork, to answering my questions and giving me the advice that was best for my family and myself. We had more than one conversation about what I was wanting, looking for and needing to make this pregnancy a nice enjoyable memorable one. That is exactly what I got the day of my delivery. She took the time to meet with my mom, husband and myself before we went to the hospital to go over everything and prepare us. She was there right by my side every moment of the way. Her techniques and calmness made the entire delivery amazing. She knew exactly when I needed her and what I needed. She also knew when I needed a moment to myself. She allowed my husband and I to have the experience we wanted together. I can not thank Janet enough for all she did for me and my family. An experience she will always be apart of and I would not change one piece of it. If you are looking for a doula, I would highly recommend Janet, you will be so thankful you did! Janet is now definitely a part of our family for sure!

We used Janet as our doula for the birth of our daughter and most recently the birth of our son. The guidance and support she provided throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery was so important to us and I cannot imagine giving birth without her by our sides.  She helped us work through our birth plans and helped us make plans for pain relief during and after labor. I cannot recommend Janet as a doula highly enough.

Janet was recommended to me from a few mama’s that I knew so my husband and I set up at meeting with her and knew that she would be a perfect fit for us. My 1st pregnancy was awesome but I ended up being induced and had I had her at a hospital, wig my 2nd I wanted to do things differently. I wanted a natural birth at a hospital. Janet was extremely helpful and gave me tons of info and advice when it came to this. She was always just a phone call or text away anytime I had any questions or concerns. She wanted to make sure that she helped me the way I wanted to be helped. When I went into labor she got to the birth center before I did and she was by my side the whole time. She really did make my pregnany and birth less stressful and more enjoyable. We will most definitely be using her again as a labor doula and possibly as a postpartum doula as well! I would recommend her to anyone!

Janet was a silent helper, not intrusive at all. She used different methods to ease pain which smoothly led to natural childbirth. In the hospital setting, she also asked for aids, such as compression stockings that I would have not thought to ask for. She spoke to the nurses on my behalf in a calm manner and in a gentle way gained for me what I wanted out of childbirth. The birthing process was smooth, quiet and uneventful. Janet did a great job!
