Amy Casson is an amazing doula.
My opinion of her should carry weight to anyone reading this testimonial because I myself am a doula.
When it comes to a doula choosing her own doula for her birth, one can bet that we have pretty high expectations.

Amy is sincere, trustworthy, knowledgeable, intuitive, experienced, and confident. In discussions with Amy during my pregnancy, I was very specific about what I needed her to do for me. Throughout pregnancy she was a solid shoulder to lean on during some very rocky happenings. (I cannot encourage women enough to hire their doula early in their pregnancy.) She was always a phone call away. She knew when to just listen and when I needed some feedback. She was always there to remind me of the innate knowledge within myself when others tried to influence me and my decision making. In my labour she was everything she needed to be which put me at incredible ease. I knew that there were tasks she was in charge of handling and I knew she could do it. This detail allowed me to wipe those tasks from my mind and focus on my labour. (As it happened labour was quick! This is new for me! Amy had to step up to the plate in a way that she had not expected and she did a wonderful job! My husband was incredibly relieved to know that Amy was onboard from the very beginning. She was OUR doula.) Even though our 'official' doula-client relationship is over, Amy still encourages me to follow my heart in parenting my son and my older daughters. All we need is at least one person behind us who believes that we 'have it in the bag' so long as we do the work. For me Amy was (and still is) this person.

Amy is an asset to all of those who have the privilege to know her.
I am more than happy to provide further information to her potential clients.
She has my contact information and she is more than welcome to share it with clients.

Thank you Amy for being who you are.
