The Grey Nuns and the Royal Alex (Lois Hole Hospital for Women) are VERY busy hospitals, but you can still have a wonderfully amazing birth there! I have worked at all the area hospitals. I have also attended four c-sections, two at the Royal Alexandra (LHfW) where they were more than accommidating, and two at the Grey Nuns, where they were not. Attends birth center births? All Birth Centers I've attended births at Stony Plain - Westview Health Center, but have heard that they are no longer accepting patients there. Attends home births? Any Home Birth I have attended homebirths for VBAC births and for first timers. Always beautiful and serene.
