Client Testimonials for Chelsea Shure
Mary and Scott Reed
Mary: I truly feel that having Chelsea as our doula helped us have the beautiful, intense, and natural birth that we were hoping for. From the beginning, Chelsea provided us with support and resources that kept us calm, positive, and focused during pregnancy and delivery. One of the many great things about Chelsea is that she helped us make our own decisions, and she let us know she was there for us no matter what choices we made about pregnancy and our birth. She kept us focused on creating our own birth experience, and gave us confidence that we could have the birth that we wanted. During our birthing time, Chelsea was an affirming and knowledgeable presence in the room, while still allowing my husband and I to share the experience together. We are so glad that she was a part of this special time in our lives.
Scott: Watching my son come into this world was the single most powerful event I have ever experienced. Though my wife was an absolute rockstar throughout her entire birthing time, Chelsea's presence and support were a huge comfort to this soon-to-be new father who hadn't a clue what to expect from childbirth. No class or book could have prepared me for the reality of the experience, but Chelsea not only supported my wife during her birthing time--she supported me, AND showed me how to better support my wife at every stage of labor. Her experience and expertise allowed me to focus on my wife and truly share the experience with her. I didn't have to waste time trying to figure out what to do next; Chelsea was always there with a suggestion for a different position or an extra hand to support my wife. This allowed me to really stay present in the moment, which enriched our experience all the more.

After having an unpleasant experience with the birth of our son Gordon, we wanted to have the best experience for the birth of our daughter Charlie. We decided to have Chelsea as our doula and are so glad we made that call! Chelsea was an important part of our pregnancy, labor and birth. She's such a caring, loving and fun person who is incredibly skilled in what she's doing. She is absolutely committed to her job and passionate about it. She gave us amazing informations about pregnancy, labor, birth, early motherhood and beyond! We're so happy with our choice and recommend her highly to every mom/parent to be.
